Cookies and Local Storage Notice

This notice explains how Globeda uses browser storage and how third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies when you use the site.
These pages are practical beta drafts prepared for launch readiness. They are not lawyer-approved legal advice.
1. First-party browser storage
Globeda currently relies primarily on browser local storage for authentication and preferences, rather than first-party marketing cookies.
Keys used by the product include:
- gb_token — authentication token (JWT) used to keep you signed in.
- wf_lang — language preference.
- wf_fav — favorite listing IDs stored locally.
- wf_cur — currency preference.
- sidebar_state — a UI cookie that may be set by a sidebar component if that UI is present (path=/; multi-day lifetime). It is not used for advertising.
2. Third-party services
When you use certain features, third-party services may set or read their own cookies or storage on their domains. This can include:
- Google Sign-In / Google Identity Services.
- Mapbox (maps and geocoding).
- Google Fonts.
- Stripe Checkout (when you are redirected to Stripe for payment flows).
- Cloudinary (image upload and delivery).
This notice does not claim that no third party ever uses cookies. Third-party behavior can change and is controlled by those providers’ own technologies and policies.
3. Advertising and analytics cookies
Globeda currently does not use advertising cookies.
Globeda currently does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar marketing trackers.
No full marketing-cookie consent banner is shown at this time based on the current first-party implementation.
If we add advertising or marketing trackers later, we will update this notice and any required consent mechanism.
